1st May , Maharashtra Day . On this this the state of Maharashtra was formed in the year 1960 . A day to remember all those who moulded the state into a strong state that it is today. We had a small programme organised by our Hindi and Marathi department which included a prayer service, speech and songs in Marathi telling more about the state . The day ended with the state Anthem sung by all with pride .
“ International Labour Day”
On this day we also celebrate labour day , a day to remember all those who work day for the smooth functioning of things around us . We here at St. Teresa’s felicitate all our support staff every year on this day to show gratitude for their contribution towards the institution and we even pray for their good health.
