On 1st May, our school celebrated Maharashtra Day and Labour Day with great enthusiasm by tue teachers of all the houses and Hindi and Marathi department teachers. The program began with a special prayer service . A special speech was delivered by our teacher highlighting the significance of Maharashtra Day and the formation of the state in 1960.
The importance of Labour Day was also explained, and the hard work of school staff like cleaners, guards, and helpers was acknowledged. Our support staff was felicitated for their hard work and dedication for our school. Handmade cards and thank-you notes were given to the school support staff as a gesture of appreciation.
The event ended with the principal’s address, encouraging students to value both cultural pride and the dignity of labour.
